Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain Drupal 9/10/11 web applications by building custom modules, themes, and integrations while ensuring code quality through version control and peer reviews. Perform regular security patches, troubleshoot site issues, and optimize performance for speed, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness. Manage cloud hosting environments on Acquia, Pantheon, AWS, or Azure and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments. Collaborate with designers, content teams, and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and user-centered digital experiences within Agile workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5+ years of experience developing with Drupal (including Drupal 9/10/11)
- Strong proficiency in PHP, Twig, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design
- Experience with Composer, Drush, Git, and modern development workflows
- Knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB and database optimization
- Experience with cloud hosting platforms (Acquia, Pantheon, AWS, Azure)
- Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG), security best practices, and performance optimization
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with headless or decoupled Drupal architectures
- Familiarity with React, Vue, or other modern JavaScript frameworks
- Experience with Docker or containerized development environments
- Acquia Drupal Developer or Site Builder certification
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
