Job Summary
Strategic and creative Web Content Manager to join LA28’s Digital Engagement & Marketing team. Responsible for defining and executing the website content strategy across LA28.org, owning the editorial calendar, leading content direction and governance, coordinating with cross-functional teams, incorporating SEO best practices, analyzing performance, and supporting major launches and initiatives. The role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution, ensuring content aligns with fan needs and business priorities, while protecting the LA28 brand and contributing to the Olympic/Paralympic Movement through high-quality digital experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia, Journalism or similar program preferred or a combination of equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in digital content strategy, web content management, or editorial roles
- Proven experience developing and managing content strategies and editorial calendars
- Strong understanding of SEO, content optimization, and search-driven user behavior
- Experience working within CMS platforms (enterprise CMS experience preferred)
- Experience collaborating across marketing, product, and analytics teams
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
