Job Summary
Maintain and enhance the integrated judicial web application by triaging defects, translating requirements into technical tasks, and developing web features, APIs, and batch reports. Validate user stories, participate in agile ceremonies and backlog prioritization, and provide documentation support for non-technical stakeholders while collaborating with cross-functional teams and county agencies. Perform unit testing and resolve defects to ensure reliable, secure, and user-friendly operations for civil and criminal justice processes. This onsite contract role requires 2+ years of web development experience and proficiency in JavaScript, C#, Java, or Node.js, with a salary range of $34-$36/hour for candidates based in the Houston area.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience supporting or developing web-based applications
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, server-side language (C#, Java, or Node.js), and SQL
- Experience writing and validating requirements and user stories
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with version control, unit testing, and basic CI/CD
- Candidates must be based in the Houston area
- Only individuals authorized to work in the U.S. will be considered
- Must be located in the HOUSTON, TX area
- Job Schedule: Mon-Fri, 40 hrs/week
