Job Summary
Fix bugs, refactor code, and improve the web application's user interface and experience. Add new functionality to the internally developed Laravel system and develop comprehensive web app documentation. Report to the IT manager for guidance on assigned maintenance tasks while gaining mentorship from experienced IT professionals. This onsite internship is based out of the Falls Church, VA office and provides exposure to real-world systems, tools, and projects within a dynamic IT environment.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience with Model-View-Controller framework
- Working knowledge of PHP
- Basic understanding of SQL database
- Experience working in Microsoft Windows and Linux command line
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR regulations (e.g., U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual)
