Job Summary
Weaver needed to operate and maintain weaving looms, keeping up to 20 looms running to produce high-quality fabric. Responsibilities include fixing breaks in tape (weft & warp), replacing empty tape packages, inspecting fabric for defects, performing general housekeeping around looms, and supporting a fast-moving production team. The role is entry-level friendly, requires willingness to learn, strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities, comfort around machinery, and physical activity (lots of walking). The position is full-time with 12-hour shift rotations, located at IPG in Truro, Nova Scotia, with a starting wage of $20/hour and weekly pay, plus shift premiums and comprehensive benefits. On-site work with full PPE provided. Remote/H1B-related notes are not applicable. Ready to join a high-performing, safety-conscious manufacturing team.
