Job Summary
Lead business solution planning for B2B client servicing initiatives for EAM/family offices/license type clients. Provide business analysis on client account structure, trade processing, financial product lifecycle, and transform business requirements into technical specifications or workflow details. Drive feasibility studies for potential projects; shape the platform roadmap and drive platform buildout per roadmap. Work closely with clients or business teams to oversee and track the technology initiatives being delivered. Adhere to and provide support for regional project and risk governance processes. Interact with other technology teams locally and globally as well as other departments on platform implementation which includes new requirement signoff, testing and deployment. Assist both business and development teams on project prioritization. Supervise and mentor junior business analysts, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Information system or related disciplines
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in business analyst roles gaining from international brokerage firms covering in at least one of the following business/functional areas: front-office sales & trading, middle/back office post-trade processing either for cash equities, structured products, and/or FICC for HK, SG & other Asian markets
- Extensive experience in the trade flow & processing of China’s, Hong Kong’s and/or Singapore’s capital market & products, such as equities, derivatives & structured products, bonds, FX
- Well understanding of the rules & regulation related to HK SFC, SG MAS and Financial Market Infrastructures
- Excellent verbal and written skills with ability to create specifications tailored to business and tech audiences
- Project management skills to manage scope, resources and timeline for on-time delivery
- Strong analytical, problem-solving & process improvement skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with good command of Chinese and English; Mandarin is a must
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
