Job Summary
Responsible for delivering advanced estate and financial planning advice to high net worth clients with $10MM+ in assets. Utilize complex financial planning techniques across various elements of wealth to enhance client retention and impact revenue. Complete diagnostic reviews and provide comprehensive analysis and solutions, with a focus on compliance and effective communication. Foster relationships internally and externally, engage in team development, and maintain proficiency in planning software. Requires strong financial planning knowledge, communication skills, and project management experience.
Required Qualifications
- Complex technical knowledge of issues relating to financial planning including income tax, investments, debt management, retirement planning, employee benefits, stock options, insurance, estate planning, and business planning
- Proven ability to get clients to take action
- Bachelor’s degree
- Professional work experience with demonstrated competency in financial industry
- Advanced communication and relationship skills
- Strong computer software and related technical skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- At least one of the following: JD, LLM in Taxation, MS in Taxation, MSFS, ChFC, CFP, CPA, or comparable advanced knowledge course of study
- Advanced written, verbal, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Proven experience with group facilitation, presentations, and public speaking
- The ability to lead and manage projects relevant to the Advice and Planning Group
Desired Qualifications
- Ten years of experience with area(s) of concentration specifically in financial planning and wealth management or affiliated industries
- Experience advising HNW clients
