Job Summary
Wealth Strategies and Solutions Data Analyst supports RBC Wealth Management's wealth strategies and product platforms, assisting in project management, data analytics, and policy/procedure documentation to drive adoption of wealth planning solutions. Responsibilities include gathering, validating and reporting key department metrics; acting as subject matter expert on Wealth Strategies data; advising on client and product segmentation analyses (with a focus on UHNW); supporting adoption of AI applications to improve business processes; creating a Partnership database and knowledge-base tools; documenting desk procedures and assisting with routine administrative tasks. Skills emphasized include data manipulation (R/Python/SQL/SAS), BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), data platforms (Snowflake, Alteryx), familiarity with wealth management products and regulations, AI model awareness, Salesforce Financial Services Cloud reporting, and strong communication and stakeholder management.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree (BA/BS) preferred with concentration in business, economics, finance, or marketing
- Basic knowledge of financial markets and investment industry
- Ability to work with and analyze large data sets using at least one data manipulation language (e.g., R, Python, SQL, SAS)
- Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake, Alteryx or similar tools
- Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud reporting
- SIE (Securities Industry Essentials) exam or ability to obtain within 12 months
- Series 7 license or ability to obtain within 12 months
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to work independently
