Job Summary
Manage Desktop Managed Equity accounts by coordinating with Investment Advisors on tax budgets and implementing trades to transition portfolios toward Wilmington Trust's equity strategy. Collaborate on decision-making processes to marry firm best thinking with client constraints, while proactively monitoring tracking error and communicating trade occurrences. Manage entire portfolios to execute multi-asset class strategies and identify risk-related issues requiring escalation in accordance with regulatory standards. This role supports a large client base of over 300 accounts with over $1 billion in AUM, operating within M&T Bank's network of 1,000+ branches.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors' degree
- three years related work experience
- minimum of 3 years' investment experience
- Comprehensive understanding in discipline
- In depth knowledge of trading procedures

- Evaluates situations using multiple sources of information
- Inputs to decisions within own discipline

- Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls

Desired Qualifications
- CFA
- progress toward CFA
- CIMA
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years' investment experience
- in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 9 years higher education and/or work experience
- including a minimum of 4 years investment experience
- Comprehensive investment and industry knowledge
- Proficient personal computer skills
- solid knowledge of Microsoft Office
