Job Summary
Wealth Operations Analyst I to support TD Asset Management in Toronto with a focus on trade settlement and operations workflows. Responsibilities include daily settlement of Foreign Exchange (FX) spots and forwards, swaps, OTC and listed options, futures, repos, private debt, term B loans, collateral administration, private placements, hedge trades; investigate and resolve items on daily failed trades reports; ensure confirmations of FX trades and derivatives; monitor corporate actions and deadlines; maintain records and perform trade transmission reviews; coordinate migration activities (in-specie transfers, in-kind donations); ensure matching and confirmation of FX transactions; monitor private placements, restricted securities, and collateral management; liaise between Trading, Broker/Dealer, Custody, and Fund Accounting to resolve settlement issues; maintain Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs) in Omgeo ALERT; participate in risk mitigation, reporting, and ad hoc projects; support the Operations team and contribute to a positive, collaborative environment. The role requires strong analytical and Excel skills, familiarity with institutional investment products and processes, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting. CFA enrollment is considered an asset.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolment in CFA program would be an asset
- Strong analytical, logical and organizational skills
- Knowledge of products and processes used in the institutional investment industry
- Excel proficiency
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team-oriented and collaborative
- Experience in an investment environment and basic accounting principles preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
