Job Summary
Trust Officer at VP level within JPMorgan's Global Trusts & Estates Practice. Oversee administration of trusts, analyze trust documents for legal, tax, administrative and investment issues, and coordinate delivery of services. Make recommendations on discretionary powers as trustee; supervise investments to align with fiduciary guidelines; apply comprehensive knowledge of trust law, gifting techniques, and taxation to client planning and account administration. Collaborate with Tax Officers and trust counsel to resolve tax issues; manage distributions, account maintenance/opening/closing, and investment systems. Build and maintain relationships with beneficiaries and advisors, partner with wealth advisors on vetting and pricing of new trust business, and contribute to training and development within the team. Requires a Bachelor's Degree; MBA or other advanced degree preferred; J.D. preferred; strong client relationship management experience; location Nassau, Bahamas; full-time role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus; J.D. preferred
- In-depth knowledge of all fiduciary products and services, including all legal, tax and regulatory requirements applicable to fiduciary relationships
- Relevant experience focused in the Trust business; either at a corporate fiduciary or a law firm
- Solid Client Relationship Management experience
