Job Summary
Team Leader will lead a team of 4 oil & gas professionals within Mineral Asset Management, manage a book of accounts, negotiate leases and asset sales, perform surface inspections, conduct annual account reviews, analyze cash flows and well activity, ensure timely revenue payments, monitor ad valorem taxes, present client updates to fiduciary officers, assist in marketing mineral management services, coordinate account openings/closing, and oversee asset setup and risk and reporting. Requires Bachelor’s degree, CPL designation, JD/MBA preferred, 5+ years in a comparable role, and 10 years in-house landman experience; leadership and client-facing capabilities are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- CPL designation required
- 5+ years of experience in a comparable role
- Minimum 10 years in-house landman experience with an E&P company or mineral management company
- Experience managing a team
- 5+ years of experience in a comparable role
- Demonstrated understanding of wealth management, trust and estate administration, and/or vendor management preferred
