Job Summary
Senior Strategic Risk Officer in Wealth Management responsible for leading, governing, and managing first-line operational and strategic risk. Partners with Enterprise Risk Management to develop tools, practices, and policies to analyze and report line-of-business risks and align with enterprise risk management framework. Ensures compliance with applicable regulations, rating agency standards, and division objectives; establishes risk management architecture; oversees operational risk activities; chairs or inputs into committees; liaises with wealth compliance, internal/external audit, OCC, and ITC; advises senior leadership on risk matters; leads risk initiatives and technology projects to enhance the control environment; requires a Bachelor's degree and 12-15 years fiduciary/corporate trustee experience; MBA preferred. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 12-15 years fiduciary and / or corporate trustee knowledge and experience with Wealth relationships
- 15+ years equivalent experience
- Masters in Business Administration (preferred)
- Excellent oral, written and communication skills
- Project management skills
- Leadership and management skills
- Knowledge of laws, rules and regulations relevant to wealth management and fiduciary services
