Job Summary
Trust Officer VP responsible for overseeing administration of trusts within JPMorgan's Global Trusts & Estates Practice. Analyze trust documents for legal, tax, and investment considerations; make recommendations on discretionary powers exercised by the trustee; oversee investment decisions to meet fiduciary objectives; apply fiduciary knowledge to client planning and account administration; collaborate with tax officers and trust counsel to resolve issues; understand distributions, account maintenance, openings/closings, and investment systems; build and maintain beneficiary and advisor relationships; partner with wealth advisors on vetting and pricing new trust business; drive cross-sell of JPM products/services; participate in ongoing training and personal development; requires strong fiduciary product knowledge and client relationship management skills. Education: Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or advanced degree is a plus; J.D. preferred. Location: Rochester, NY (US). The role emphasizes teamwork, training, and the ability to manage complex fiduciary relationships and trust administration.
