Job Summary
Analyst role within Goldman Sachs' Private Wealth Management Operations, focused on Client Onboarding & Configuration. Responsible for reviewing account onboarding and maintenance documentation to meet regulatory requirements, understanding client account structures and required legal documentation, ensuring signatures and organizational documents are obtained, inputting data for system setup, completing suitability reviews, identifying AML/KYC red flags, partnering with AML Compliance to implement policies, conducting due diligence reviews, evaluating product requests for regulatory/compliance alignment, ensuring downstream systems correctly recognize approved products, coordinating with PWM teams to resolve issues, maintaining centralized documentation, and contributing to process improvements and system readiness through testing and regression analysis. Strong emphasis on regulatory compliance, risk awareness, collaboration with Legal, Management, Compliance, and AML teams, and the ability to operate in a multinational, client-focused environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years financial industry experience in AML or other Client Onboarding Regulatory experience
- Strong interpersonal skills to establish Business and Federation relationships
- Able to manage multiple tasks or projects and manage deadlines effectively
- Proficiency in Chinese is considered beneficial to effectively review client documentation, interpret legal and onboarding materials, and collaborate with internal teams and clients across Greater China markets.
