Job Summary
Macro Strategy Analyst in Wealth Management focusing on Asia (APAC) economics, macro views, and asset allocation. Responsibilities include conducting economic and market analysis, formulating macro and asset-class views with emphasis on Asia, producing client-facing publications and market commentaries, presenting analyses and investment recommendations to internal teams and clients, collaborating on ad-hoc research and development of analytical tools, and staying current on macro data releases and policy developments. Requires strong research, data-analysis, and communication skills, and fluency in English and Chinese. Provides a pathway to build specialized expertise within JP Morgan Private Bank's macro framework.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics or related disciplines
- Dynamic team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English and Chinese (reading and writing)
- Experience in the financial industry (preferred)
- Advanced degrees preferred (optional)
- Research and/or investment advisory experience preferred
- Understanding of Wealth Management preferred
