Job Summary
Develop and maintain a network of relationships to generate mortgage lending opportunities for Bank of America Merrill Financial Advisors; negotiate lending terms, structure deals, and guide clients through loan processes while ensuring regulatory compliance including SAFE Act registration; build and maintain a referral-driven pipeline and provide expertise on lending programs and policies to support business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of experience in a loan origination role
- Significant experience with ultra-high net worth and affluent client base
- Prospecting, generating leads, closing business
- Knowledge of standard to custom mortgage products and securities-based lending
- Experience building client relationships
- Understanding of processing, underwriting and closing
- Working knowledge of federal real estate lending regulations
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Self-motivation and organization
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to maintain a solid referral base
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field (preferred in Experience)
- Internal remote-work eligibility with onsite requirement per policy
- Licensing considerations: Series 7 and 63 may be maintained permissively
- Familiarity with FHA/HUD guidelines
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft applications
