Job Summary
Vice President, FX Direct Access Client (DAC) in Private Banking covering UHNW clients; focus on driving FX & Precious Metals activity, providing advice on portfolios, pricing and execution across spot, forwards, and OTC derivatives. Work with the broader coverage team to align FX with client plans, increase activity with existing clients and identify new ones, conduct daily client interactions (phone or in person), perform quantitative and qualitative market analysis, develop and present ideas across the franchise, and build relationships with stakeholders across Asia, EMEA and the US. Collaborate with sales, trading and research within JP Morgan CIB. Requires minimum 6 years FX/PM experience, a Bachelor's degree, strong quantitative skills including FX options in risk management, pricing and risk understanding, and excellent communication; Mandarin fluency and a proactive, client-focused mindset are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of experience
- Bachelor degree holder
- Relevant experience in FX/PM markets (advising clients, trading, or structuring)
- Core need for quantitative and technical skills, including extensive knowledge of FX options, specifically from a risk‐management standpoint
- Understanding of market risks from pricing and execution perspectives; efficiency and accuracy in pricing various trade strategies
- Demonstrating strong interest and passion for financial markets, international affairs and geopolitical events
- Strong analytical and marketing skills with the ability to translate complex ideas into simple, practical forms
- Good communication skills
- Proficiency with electronic trading systems
- Fluency in Mandarin as the job holder will interact with clients based in China and Greater China
