Job Summary
Wealth management advisor tasked with developing and maintaining lasting client relationships, listening to members’ and clients’ needs, and advising on strategies to meet financial goals. You will recommend investments, loans, and insurance products, manage business relationships and service quality, stay current on industry trends, participate in outreach, and represent Desjardins caisse in the community. Requires a Bachelor's degree, at least one year of relevant experience, mutual fund representation certification, and fluency in French. Knowledge of tax, financial and succession issues for individuals and businesses, and familiarity with Desjardins products, processes, and compliance requirements are expected. Demonstrates action orientation, customer focus, interpersonal savvy, and drive to deliver results.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Mutual fund representative certificate – Autorité des marchés financiers
- Knowledge of French is required
- Knowledge of current financial, economic, political and legislative events
- Specialized knowledge of tax, financial and succession issues for individuals and businesses
- Knowledge of all products and services offered by Desjardins and competitors
- Knowledge of debt management
- Knowledge of compliance with legislation respecting the distribution of financial products and services
- Understanding of the philosophy and fundamentals of financial services cooperatives
- Knowledge of Desjardins processes
