Job Summary
Advise members and clients on investment, loan, and insurance strategies to meet their financial goals while balancing satisfaction, profitability, and prudent risk management. Manage business relationships, assess service quality, and implement improvements based on feedback. Participate in community outreach activities and represent the organization to build lasting trust. Stay current on market trends, legislative changes, and best practices in financial services. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, one year of relevant experience, and a Mutual fund representative certificate. Fluency in French is mandatory, along with specialized knowledge of tax, succession, and debt management. The position offers a competitive salary, annual bonus, defined benefit pension, and group insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience
- Mutual fund representative certificate – Autorité des marchés financiers
- Knowledge of French is required
- Knowledge of current financial, economic, political and legislative events
- Specialized knowledge of tax, financial and succession issues for individuals and businesses
- Knowledge of all products and services aimed at caisse members and those offered by Desjardins Business Centres, Desjardins components and distribution networks, and those offered by competitors
- Knowledge of debt management
- Knowledge of compliance with legislation respecting the distribution of financial products and services
- Understanding of the philosophy and fundamentals of financial services cooperatives
- Knowledge of policies, legislation and standards related to products and services offered by the caisse
- Knowledge of the Desjardins business processes
