Job Summary
Wealth Management Advisor in Albany, NY, to manage and deepen relationships with an established book of high-net-worth clients by delivering tailored financial strategies as a fiduciary. You will be the primary financial contact, navigate complex situations, guide clients through retirement, collaborate with internal specialists to deliver comprehensive recommendations, and proactively grow your practice through expanding existing relationships and leveraging TIAA's wealth-management capabilities. The role emphasizes growth of a client-focused practice, strong advisory and selling skills, and the opportunity for career advancement within a hybrid-flex work environment.
Required Qualifications
- FINRA Series 7 and Series 63; Series 65 or 66
- Life and Health Insurance License — must be obtained within 120 days of start date
- Preferred: Life and Health Insurance License (Resident State)
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level I (if not held, company may assist)
- 5+ years of experience managing a book of business and building relationships with affluent clients
- Deep knowledge of investment solutions and financial planning
- Strong people skills and fiduciary mindset
- Autonomy and accountability in a sales-oriented role
