Job Summary

Grow and retain GSA clients and Assets Under Management while delivering personalized financial advice and wealth management to GuideStone members. Provide faith-aligned solutions, manage dedicated client relationships, and support strategic initiatives to increase the perceived value of GuideStone as a premier provider. Drive continuous improvement in systems and processes, educate the team on securities industry rules, and contribute to thought leadership and training efforts. Maintain proficiency in relevant disciplines, defined contribution plans, and church-specific tax issues. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of relationship management experience, and up to 10% travel. Located in Dallas, Texas, with a hybrid schedule.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of relationship management, financial advice or other financial services sales and client delivery experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Travel is required up to 10% annually
  • Securities 6, 63, and 65 licenses required (or equivalents)
  • Strong relationship management, communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge and experience in financial advisory areas
  • Proficient skills in MS Office, appropriate GuideStone system applications and financial advice technologies
  • Knowledge and experience working with defined contribution plans, nonqualified deferred compensation plans and defined benefit plans
  • Knowledgeable in church plans, ministers' tax issues and rules related to various savings plans/arrangements
  • A sense of ministry
  • Must present professional appearance
  • Must have complete confidentiality regarding GuideStone business matters, both internal and client
  • Membership in a Southern Baptist Church strongly preferred

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's Degree, preferred
  • CFP, CEBS or related certifications preferred
