Job Summary
Wealth Advisor, Director serves as the primary relationship manager for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients, delivering a comprehensive wealth management experience that integrates banking solutions, investment strategies, and holistic financial planning. The role combines credit and lending proficiency with investment and planning expertise to ensure end-to-end financial advice. Leads cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities within client relationships, develops business development strategies, and drives wallet share through cross-selling. Coordinates complex acquisition strategies with Retail, Commercial, and Capital Markets, and acts as a subject-matter expert on regulatory and policy matters. Responsibilities include leading client reviews, producing client reports, designing investment portfolios and wealth plans, collaborating with internal specialists, and delivering personalized advice aligned with client goals. Requires: extensive experience in wealth management, strong client service, strategic relationship management, and ability to translate client needs into tailored banking and investment solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Typically 7+ years of relevant experience
- post-secondary degree in related field of study
- MBA certification preferred
- Certified Financial Planner is preferred
- Experience dealing with HNW clients
- Broad knowledge of wealth management
- In-depth knowledge of bank products, services and capabilities
- Strong relationship management and business development skills
