Job Summary
Gift Shop Cashier at We-Ko-Pa Casino’s Gift Shop providing exceptional guest service in a retail/casino environment. Responsibilities include greeting customers, operating the cash register, handling cash/credit/debit transactions, assisting customers with product information, maintaining a clean, organized checkout area, restocking shelves, creating visually appealing displays, answering pricing/promotions questions, processing returns/exchanges, balancing cash drawers, monitoring stock levels, and collaborating with team members to ensure a positive, efficient workplace. Must be able to lift 50+ pounds, push/pull 100, and pass background checks and drug testing; Indian Preference applies with submission of CIB. Must have high school diploma or GED and Gift Shop experience. Preference given to federally recognized Indian tribe members.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Gift Shop experience
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a State/Tribal License (including an extensive background check)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Indian Preference: Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB) submission for preference
