Job Summary
Manage daily operations of Telenor Connexion cloud and IP core environments, including monitoring, performance optimization, maintenance, automation, and scalability. Lead integrations and collaborate on architectural decisions while setting operational requirements for new designs. Develop processes and tools to enable complete surveillance across platforms and infrastructure, ensuring cost and capacity management. Maintain up-to-date documentation and drive continuous improvements in deployment and support. Handle 24/7 on-call rotation for network and cloud stability.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working with large vendors such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud and Cisco
- Strong operational mindset where the availability of our environments and services are highly prioritized
- Experience in one or more of the common scripting languages (i.e Python, NodeJS)
- Experience managing networks, such as Cisco-equipment and VPNs
- Extensive knowledge and experience managing cloud environments, infrastructure and integrations
- Knowledge and understanding in design and best practices of cloud environments
- Very comfortable in at least one programming/scripting language (Python, NodeJS, etc.)
- Knowledge managing Cisco equipment, routing and VPN
- Good understanding of concepts in the Communication and Network Security
- Strong experience in system administration (Linux)
- Experience of services offered in cloud environments, primarily Amazon Web Services
- Experience and understanding of CI/CD
- Experience of cloud environment monitoring
- On-call outside office hours is applied on a scheduled basis
