Job Summary
WCP Clinician (Part-Time) in Waterbury, CT, providing direct and indirect behavioral health services to clients in the Women & Children residential program. Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluations, treatment planning, discharge planning, crisis intervention, and delivering group, individual, and family therapies addressing Substance Use Disorders, Mental Health, Trauma, and Parenting. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to support clients’ recovery and parenting goals; participates in supervision, rounds, case conferences, and coordination with outside referrals and managed care for authorizations. Requires a master’s degree in Social Work and CT licensure (LMSW/LCSW) or CT licensure as LPC-A or LMFT-A, with flexible hours including evenings/weekends. Responsibilities also involve documentation, advocacy, community engagement, and ensuring standards of service delivery. May supervise and coordinate in the day-to-day residential component and participate in trainings as determined by leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work and Connecticut State license from the Department of Public Health (LMSW or LCSW)
- Connecticut license as a Professional Counselor (LPC-A) or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT-A)
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and valid auto insurance
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Computer competency in Windows and Outlook with ability to maintain agency-specific electronic files
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends; willingness to cover for co-workers during vacations, illness; ability to work mandated shifts as needed
