Job Summary
Line Cook at Whiskey Cake responsible for cooking and preparing food items according to recipes, ensuring correct preparation before cooking, plating, and presentation. Follow designated times and prescribed recipes under the Chef de Cuisine, read and understand tickets, maintain high food quality, adhere to health regulations, store products properly, keep a clean and safe kitchen, operate and maintain equipment, and work collaboratively with coworkers and management to deliver prepared menu items on time.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read and understand tickets
- Stand for long periods
- Lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Properly use a knife and other equipment
- Maintain a current Food Handler’s Certification and practice proper sanitation procedures
- E-Verify participation
