Job Summary
Provide friendly, efficient service of food and beverage following established quality and time standards. Maintain high cleanliness awareness throughout the restaurant, bus and manicure tables, and polish silverware and glassware. Assemble and disassemble workstations promptly while stocking and replenishing items as needed. Deliver food orders accurately, execute proper food placement and removal, and assist servers in maintaining tables. Communicate with guests and coworkers in a positive, hospitable manner, reporting equipment issues immediately to management. Adhere to all state and federal laws regarding food and alcohol service, including current certifications, and follow safety guidelines and checklists. Maintain adequate ice levels for drink preparation and ensure professional grooming standards are met daily.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read English
- Stand for long periods
- Lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks
- Properly utilize a tray to assist in delivering food and drink items to guests
- Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification
- Maintain a current TABC Certification
- Practice proper sanitation procedures
- Follow regulations regarding alcohol sales and service
- Follow all safety guidelines set out by the restaurant
