Job Summary
Busser at Whiskey Cake: provide friendly, efficient service and maintain cleanliness throughout the dining area; assist servers, bartenders, and team members by delivering food and drinks and supporting host stand procedures; assemble/disassemble workstations, stock supplies, maintain ice levels, and ensure safety and sanitation standards; uphold uniform guidelines (ironed shirt, black apron, wrinkle-free black pants, slip-resistant shoes, black socks) and professional grooming; follow state and federal alcohol service laws and maintain required certifications; communicate positively with guests and coworkers, arrive on time for shifts, and collaborate with the management team to ensure guest satisfaction and restaurant operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read English
- Stand for long periods
- Lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks
- Properly utilize a tray to assist in delivering food and drink items to guests
- Maintain a current Food Handler’s Certification and TABC Certification; practice proper sanitation procedures and follow regulations regarding alcohol sales and service
