Job Summary
Bartending position at Whiskey Cake where employees are expected to engage with guests and provide efficient service. Responsibilities include preparing drinks and garnishes, maintaining cleanliness of the bar, handling cash and credit transactions, and assisting guests with menu inquiries. Candidates should have at least 2 years of upscale service experience, possess a love for food and drinks, and maintain necessary certifications. The role requires physical endurance, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy items.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of upscale service experience
- Food Handler’s Certification
- TABC Certification
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Proper use of knives and bar equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Craft cocktail & whiskey knowledge
- High volume service experience
- Strong knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine
