Job Summary
As a Workers’ Compensation Associate Attorney, you will manage a caseload of approximately 150 workers’ compensation cases and provide high-quality legal representation. Responsibilities include drafting settlement demands, negotiating claims, responding to discovery requests, conducting depositions, and representing clients at court appearances. Candidates must possess a strong commitment to exceptional client service, advanced technology skills for a paperless environment, and a commitment to jury trials and appeals.
Required Qualifications
- GA Bar license required
- Bachelor’s degree
- Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school
- 0-3 years of workers’ compensation experience
- Top quality writing skills
- Strong research skills
- Effective supervisory and leadership skills
- Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with a diverse group of clients, attorneys, and staff
