Job Summary
WB Welder responsible for obtaining parts and blueprints for manufacturing, building products to shape via tack welds, welding per prints, inspecting welds for quality, and repairing bad welds. Must read blueprints, adjust welds to meet specifications, perform cleanup, and scrape spatter. Utilizes tools such as welder, angle grinder, cutting torch, overhead crane, hammer, and tape measure; lifts up to 75 lbs. Requires MIG welding proficiency and formal training or prior experience.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient welder (MIG)
- Formal training or previous experience preferred
- Ability to read blue prints
- Ability to adjust weld to achieve quality welds within specifications
- Hand-eye coordination
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
