Job Summary
Autonomously setup, run, changeover and troubleshoot multiple production-line technologies on a scalable line with equipment across filling, labeling, packaging and palletizing. Serves as SME, trains others, and develops training content while prioritizing safety, quality, and uptime. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to reduce downtime, improve efficiency and product quality; performs preventative maintenance, conducts quality audits, and supports GMP, SQA, ISO, and centerlining initiatives. Requires Lean Manufacturing experience, ability to operate and troubleshoot high- and low-tech equipment, SAP usage, and strong problem-solving and teamwork. May support multiple shifts and overtime; standard details include ability to lift up to 40 pounds and operate within a manufacturing environment; roles may include coaching operators and assisting with process-improvement projects (DMAIC, Fishbone, 5 Why) and new equipment introduction.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of Manufacturing or production experience
- Lean Manufacturing Experience
- Basic pneumatic and lubrication skills
- Demonstrated Math and Measurement skills
- Basic hand tool skills
- Knowledge of Safety and Health and Environment principles and practices in manufacturing
- Ability to apply problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Team-working ability
- Flexibility to work within teams and independently
- Multitasking and running/setting up multiple high-tech machines
- Effective communication in a team environment
