Job Summary
Cleans and assembles wax patterns to specifications using various tools, visually inspecting them for defects and accurately coding numbers for identification. Recognizes causes of defects in wax patterns and maintains quality requirements while keeping the workstation clean, safe, and orderly. Requires continuous mental and visual attention to detail, ability to use small fine tools, and reading measurements with a ruler. Must lift up to 50 lbs, follow written and verbal instructions, and work as a self-motivated team player. Schedule includes day shifts Monday-Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm (4x10) or weekend graveyard shifts Friday-Sunday 5:00pm-5:30am (3x12) with a $2.50/hour differential. Training provided for candidates joining CPP, an industry-leading manufacturer of function critical aerospace components.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive repetitive motion of the hands, wrists and arms
- Able to use small, fine tools
- Good attendance record required
- Requires continuous mental and/or visual attention to detail
- Able to understand measurements and read and use a ruler correctly
- Able to work as a team player and be self-motivated
- Able to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions
- Compliance with general company attendance standard is required
- HS diploma or equivalent GED required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Solid job history including more than 1 year at previous or recent employer
- Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check
- Must be willing to participate in pre-employment and periodic drug screening
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations
- U.S. person status is required
