Job Summary
Contribute to software projects supporting optical network solutions and develop embedded software for performance and reliability in multi-processor, highly concurrent systems. Collaborate with team members to advance innovative technology initiatives by applying new ideas to technical challenges. Participate in the development of embedded software solutions while utilizing C/C++ coding experience and Linux-based workstations. This role requires active enrollment in a Computer Science or Engineering degree program and offers an hourly pay range of $25.00 - $35.00.
Required Qualifications
- Actively enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science or Engineering
- A passion for or experience developing software embedded solutions engineered for performance and reliability on multi-processor, highly concurrent systems
- C/C++ coding experience

- Self-motivated problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Interest in solving technical issues in a team environment
- Comfortable working in a lab environment
- Experience using Linux based workstations
- Experience writing scripts (python, bash, ...)
