Wave Manager

The Wave Manager leads the program for students, tutors, and community mentors, making final calls on individual student needs, guiding quarterly student evaluations, and overseeing mentorship and hiring/dismissal of staff. Responsibilities include conducting 1:1s and goal setting with students, organizing big circle meetings, leading the wave and community mentorship programs, creating timetables with the team, managing documentation and student contracts, providing training and development for mentors, and conducting regular performance evaluations and feedback sessions. The role requires strong leadership, fairness, trustworthiness, and the ability to make tough decisions for student success, with engagement across safeguarding, hardship support, and program quality within a Madagascar-based social enterprise.
