Job Summary
Trainee position to prepare individuals over a 12-month period for an Inside Sales or Estimator role, with potential longer-term opportunities in Branch Management, Outside Sales, or Corporate roles. Cross-training across core functions including warehouse operations, product delivery, sales, customer relationships/service, and exposure to branch-level accounting, inventory management, HR, safety/compliance, and customer invoicing. Responsibilities include answering multi-line calls, assisting customers, generating progress reports on training, pulling and packaging orders with accuracy, maintaining warehouse/yard, operating equipment, scheduling shipments, delivering to customers (non-CDL), taking bids and submittals, inventory management, processing orders/invoices/returns, data entry into Mincron, and supporting vendors and customers through the sales cycle. Requires willingness to relocate after the Trainee program, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office and Mincron; physical/fitness requirements and typical office/warehouse environment described. Education & knowledge requirements include high school diploma or equivalent; college degree is preferred but not required. EOE/AA/Disability/Vets Employer.
