Job Summary
Multi-disciplinary architectural, engineering and construction firm seeks an entrepreneurial Waterproofing Consultant in Portland, OR to support construction defect litigation support. Responsibilities include investigations, writing reports on building envelope elements, and may include forensic investigation, organization of forensic data, code research, architectural package preparation, and providing expert witness testimony in mediations, depositions, arbitrations and trials. Ideal candidates have expertise in roofing, waterproofing and building envelope systems; experience with repair and re-construction, design and project management of apartments, condominiums, and commercial/government buildings. Degree required (engineering, architecture, construction management or related); PE or RA license preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Technical degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or closely related discipline
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) license preferred
