Waterjet Operator 1

Waterjet Operator 1: Set up and operate waterjet equipment in the Fabrication Department to produce precision components from blueprints and technical instructions. Read and interpret drawings, calculate dimensions and tolerances with calipers and tape measures, align fixtures and tools, load and verify programs, and machine parts to specifications using grinders, drills, and engraving equipment. Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure quality, troubleshoot machining or equipment issues, deburr and mark finished parts, and maintain equipment through cleaning and lubrication. Requires physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in a manufacturing environment. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of waterjet or related machining experience; blueprints knowledge and CAD familiarity preferred.
