Job Summary
Mix ingredients to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, slice fruit and vegetable garnishes, and present checks to patrons while making correct change. Interact verbally with all bar guests to create a friendly atmosphere and provide exceptional customer service. Assist with inventory control, complete opening and closing side work, and prepare drinks for bar and grill servers. Demonstrate ethical behavior and adhere to Food & Beverage and company policies in a casino environment exposed to bright lights, noise, and smoke. Obtain a Wyoming Alcohol Servers Certification and pass a drug screen.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months to one (1) year related experience and/or training
- Ability to obtain a Wyoming Alcohol Servers Certification
- Must be able to pass a drug screen with negative results
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and employees
- Basic mathematical skills, such as the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
- Ability to stand and/or walk the majority of the time
- Ability to bend
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Close vision
- Distance vision
- Depth perception
- Ability to adjust focus
