Job Summary
The Waterfront Director at Camp Seneca Lake will oversee all programming, operations, and safety at the waterfront, responsible for facilitating daily activity periods and skill-building in various water sports for campers aged 8-15. Key responsibilities include supervising 7-10 staff members, ensuring a nurturing environment, maintaining equipment, and leading programming efforts in collaboration with other staff. The role requires strong judgment, participation in camp activities, and adherence to safety rules, while offering private housing and meals.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21+ years old preferred
- Certification in Lifeguarding and Safe Powerboat Handling (or willingness to gain certification)
- Ability to supervise campers and staff
- Effective communication and organizational skills
