Job Summary
Conduct outreach and community engagement within the Box Elder Region, identifying neighborhoods, distributing flyers, and visiting community hubs to recruit Utah families for the UPSTART Early Learning Program. Represent Waterford at local events, host booths, and assist with program registration while organizing small community activities like family nights and reading circles. Collaborate with staff and local organizations to strengthen community ties, maintaining daily communication through weekly check-ins and timely email responses. Travel extensively throughout the assigned area to build relationships with community partners and families.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Utah college or university
- Studying Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Child Psychology, Communications, Social Science, or a related field
- Must reside in the Northern Utah: Box Elder, area of Utah
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel frequently are required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
