Job Summary
The Water/Wastewater Utility Engineer role focuses on managing projects from concept to completion, requiring technical expertise in water and wastewater infrastructure design. Key responsibilities include developing drawings, performing cost estimates, evaluating contractor bids, preparing technical reports, and providing leadership to project teams. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, experience with design software such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D, and at least 3 years of related work experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent
- Successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam preferred
- 3+ years’ related work experience
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software
- Proven proficiency utilizing various computer software packages and automated engineering and design equipment
