Job Summary
Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Estimator – Critical Infrastructure Group supports development of quantity takeoffs for infrastructure projects under supervision. Learns plan interpretation, material identification, and basic takeoff procedures; collaborates with Pre-Bid, sales, and estimators to ensure timely bid support and skill development. Activities include reviewing construction plans and specs to identify materials, performing entry-level takeoffs, identifying standard materials for infrastructure systems, assisting in scope development and bid packages, and participating in training to build proficiency in takeoff software, product knowledge, and plan reading. Learning-focused role with mentorship from senior estimators; 0–2 years experience preferred; associate degree or technical certificate preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Experience 0–2 years of experience in construction, engineering, or related fields
- Exposure to reading blueprints or construction documents preferred
- Prior internship, training, or coursework in construction or engineering is a plus
- Education Associate degree or technical certificate preferred
- Coursework in Construction Management, Engineering, or related fields beneficial
- Equivalent experience considered
