Job Summary
The Water and Wastewater Technician role involves delivering Water and Wastewater Services, conducting system inspections, sampling, calibrating analytical equipment, and performing laboratory maintenance. The technician will maintain vehicles, serve as a liaison to customers, plan on-call schedules, and execute various operational duties. To qualify, candidates need an Associates Degree in Environmental Science or equivalent, a Massachusetts Industrial Wastewater Operator License (Grade 2I or higher), and a minimum of one year of experience in Environmental Services or a related field.
Required Qualifications
- Massachusetts Industrial Wastewater Operator License Grade 2I or higher (can be completed upon hire)
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Thorough understanding of water and wastewater science and regulations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
