Job Summary
The Water/Wastewater Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all activities at the construction site, ensuring a safe and productive work environment, maintaining schedules, and managing project budgets. This role organizes and supervises the work of assistant superintendents, field engineers, and subcontractors, determines work priorities, and coordinates activities to keep projects on schedule. The superintendent is also responsible for quality control, project schedule maintenance, and cost management while fostering a culture of safety on the job site. Applicants must have prior experience in supervision and water/wastewater projects, with the ability to effectively communicate and manage resources.
Required Qualifications
- Verifiable work experience as a superintendent
- Additional water/wastewater construction experience
- Proven track record supervising and coordinating personnel and materials
- Ability to understand schedules and complete projects on time and on budget
- Ability to track variances and cost projections
- Highly motivated
- Successful candidates must pass a drug screen, physical, and criminal background check
