Job Summary
Manage day-to-day field operations on trenchless rehabilitation projects including CIPP installation, pipe cleaning, CCTV inspection, manhole rehabilitation, and bypass pumping. Enforce OSHA safety compliance and site-specific safety plans while directing crew assignments and coordinating personnel across active job sites. Lead pre-construction activities such as site surveys and staging plans, then communicate daily progress, issues, and resource needs to the Project Manager and General Superintendent. Ensure all quality benchmarks, inspections, and as-built documentation are completed and approved. Coach field personnel on installation methods and techniques to build a culture of safety and accountability. This role requires 5+ years of field leadership experience, trenchless discipline knowledge, and OSHA certifications. Standard work schedule is Monday through Friday with evening and weekend hours required; overnight travel of 50% or more is expected.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of field leadership experience as a General Foreman or Superintendent in water, wastewater, or underground utility construction
- Working knowledge of one or more trenchless disciplines: CIPP lining, sewer cleaning and CCTV inspection, manhole rehabilitation, or bypass pumping
- Ability and willingness to learn additional trenchless rehabilitation methods beyond current experience
- Ability to read construction drawings, plans, and blueprints
- Confined Space Entry certification
- OSHA 10 certification
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Travel to project sites within the region
- Overnight travel of 50% or more
- Standard work schedule is Monday through Friday
- Evening and weekend hours
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
- Must pass background check
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with UV-cure or steam-cure CIPP installation methods
- Familiarity with pipe bursting, slip lining, or other no-dig renewal technologies
- Prior experience managing municipal water and sewer rehabilitation contracts
- CDL
- NASSCO PACP, MACP, or LACP certification
- Ability to obtain NASSCO PACP, MACP, or LACP certification within a reasonable timeframe
- OSHA 30 certification
