Job Summary
Water/Wastewater Superintendent leading field crews on trenchless rehabilitation projects (CIPP lining, sewer cleaning, CCTV inspection, manhole rehabilitation, bypass pumping) in Utica, NY. Responsibilities include safety enforcement, coordinating field personnel and schedules with the Project Manager, leading pre-construction activities, ensuring quality and as-built documentation, and coaching crews on CIPP installation methods and related techniques. Travel within the region is required; standard workweek with possible evening/weekend hours. Competitive base salary ($125k-$160k) with performance bonuses, ESOP, 401k, and full benefits are provided.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of field leadership experience as a General Foreman or Superintendent in water, wastewater, or underground utility construction
- Working knowledge of trenchless disciplines: CIPP lining, sewer cleaning and CCTV inspection, manhole rehabilitation, or bypass pumping
- Ability and willingness to learn additional trenchless rehabilitation methods beyond current experience
- Ability to read construction drawings, plans, and blueprints
- Confined Space Entry certification and OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred
- Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus
