Job Summary
Lead high-value, complex water and wastewater projects in the New Jersey region, managing scope, schedule, and budget while collaborating with disciplines and subconsultants to develop risk-averse scopes and fee structures. Initiate the project life cycle by identifying leads, driving marketing efforts, and assisting Section Heads with SMART Go/No-Go decisions, proposal development, and win strategies. Provide strong leadership and mentorship to project teams, conducting one-on-one check-ins, setting expectations, and delivering continuous performance management. Prepare progress reports, review invoices, and utilize project performance metrics to foresee and mitigate issues such as overruns and scope changes. Compensation is $180,000 to $205,000 annually. Requires a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, 15+ years of experience, and a Professional Engineering License in New Jersey.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field from an ABET accredited engineering program
- 15+ years of experience
- Professional Engineering License in New Jersey
- Business development experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong Communication Skills
- Strong Presentation Skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with local clients at the county and state level
- Experience with multiple project delivery methods i.e. Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, P3
- Experience managing multidiscipline project teams
