Job Summary
Manage projects in accordance with scope, schedule, and budget by collaborating with disciplines and subconsultants to develop risk-averse scopes and fee structures. Develop project-specific plans, including project management and quality management plans, while creating and maintaining detailed schedules. Monitor and execute project progress, identifying risks, developing extra work orders, and communicating status updates to internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate technical resources, lead presentations, and prepare progress reports and invoices. Provide coaching and mentoring to the team through one-on-one check-ins and project debriefs, while assisting with marketing processes and SMART Go/No Go decisions. Lead and manage team members through continuous performance management to support growth and development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, environmental, or chemical engineering or a related field from an ABET accredited engineering program
- Registered Professional Engineer
- 10+ years of experience
- Experience delivering water and wastewater projects from design through construction phase engineering services
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong Communication Skills
- Strong Presentation Skills
- Works well in a team environment
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs as needed
- Must be available for occasional field work outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions
Desired Qualifications
- CAPM or PMP
- Experience working with local clients at the county and state level
- Experience with multiple project delivery methods i.e. Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, P3
- Experience managing multidiscipline project teams
